The horror movie franchise is a personal favorite, but there have been no movies in the series that I’ve enjoyed more than the first three. As the movie opens, Margot and Chris are meeting with Sam (Henry Ayres-Brown), a young Amish man who claims to have left the insular community and has connected with Margot via a genealogy website and DNA testing. In so many words, Sarah's note expresses the utmost shock and betrayal she's experienced living with her family, as well as her fear over her child's safety.

Of course, things eventually take a horrific turn. Toby, the original Paranormal Activity entity has now been replaced by Asmodeus, and it can be ascertained from Sarah's note that she fears the demon and its followers.
